Parking has never had
a complete operating picture.
For decades, parking has been managed through transactions, infrastructure, and isolated systems that each reveal only part of what is happening. As vehicles became connected, a different future emerged. Park.Easy was built around a simple belief: the vehicle itself has become the richest source of operational intelligence, and parking should finally operate with the same continuous understanding that modern transportation already makes possible.
Parking accumulated systems. It never accumulated understanding.
Every generation of parking technology solved a specific operational problem.
- Permits identified authorized users.
- PARCS managed access.
- Payment systems processed transactions.
- LPR improved enforcement.
- Occupancy sensors measured availability.
Together they created an increasingly capable ecosystem.
What they never created was a unified understanding of how a parking environment actually functions.
Parking teams have traditionally interpreted operations through isolated events instead of continuous operational awareness. Decisions are often made from snapshots, assumptions, and historical reports rather than a complete understanding of how vehicles actually move through an environment.
That limitation has shaped parking for decades.
The vehicle changed what parking can know.
Modern connected vehicles continuously generate information about movement, location, direction, and behavior throughout a journey.
For the first time, parking no longer depends entirely on isolated observations to understand how facilities operate.
The missing challenge is no longer collecting more data.
It is organizing continuous vehicle intelligence into an operating picture organizations can actually use.
That is the foundation Park.Easy was built to create.
Principles behind everything we build
Every decision across Park.Easy is guided by a small number of product principles.
The vehicle should participate in parking.
Connected vehicles should contribute to understanding how environments operate rather than remaining disconnected from parking operations.
Visibility should improve decisions, not replace people.
Operational intelligence exists to help teams make faster, better-informed decisions with confidence.
Infrastructure should become more valuable over time.
Organizations should gain more value from the systems they already own. Park.Easy is designed to work alongside existing investments, helping them operate as part of a more complete intelligence layer.
Technology should simplify operations.
Every capability should reduce operational complexity instead of introducing another isolated workflow.
One operating picture.
Two complementary layers.
Park.Easy and Stratum solve different parts of the same operational challenge.
Park.Easy transforms connected-vehicle intelligence and existing parking systems into a continuous operating picture.
Stratum builds on that foundation, helping organizations evaluate scenarios, understand tradeoffs, and make more informed operational decisions.
Together they represent complementary layers within the same platform: one creates understanding, the other helps organizations decide what to do with it.
Building the connected parking layer.
Park.Easy did not begin with the goal of building a parking intelligence platform.
It started on a university campus after repeatedly paying for parking, only to have classes cancelled with no practical way to recover the cost. The experience exposed a broken value exchange for both drivers and the university. When the founders stopped paying and discovered there was little consequence, it raised a simple question: if they were doing this, how many others were too?
Research on a major university campus confirmed the pattern. More than sixty percent of students reported skipping payment at least once each month, and more than forty percent did so multiple times. The first version of Park.Easy focused on improving compliance while working alongside the campus's existing payment platform, helping institutions recover revenue without replacing the systems already in place.
The direction of the company changed during those early deployments.
Customers consistently pointed to something more valuable than compliance itself: Park.Easy's ability to capture high-fidelity, journey-level intelligence across the parking experience without requiring extensive new infrastructure. That insight shifted the company from solving a single operational problem to building the continuous intelligence layer that now defines the platform.
Today, Park.Easy helps organizations understand how parking environments actually operate so they can make better operational decisions with greater confidence.
The founding and development team brings experience from connected-technology and telematics organizations including Sony, Broadcom, AT&T, Qualcomm, Motorola, Intel, and other large-scale systems environments. That background continues to shape how Park.Easy is designed: interoperable with existing parking technologies, resilient in real-world operations, and built for a future where connected vehicles become a foundational source of operational intelligence.
Headquartered in San Diego, Park.Easy works with universities and forward-looking organizations preparing for the connected future of parking.
